    Good on Verlander for reviving his career from a few years ago, I guess that’s what the great pitchers do once the velocity isn’t quite there anymore.

    Without today, xFip of 2.57 over 21.1 innings since the trade. No idea if it's sustainable or not because in the other 100 innings this season in the Cubs system, he had xFip of 3.95. The main difference so far seems to be a lot less walks.

    I’m glad we have a lefty with some velocity but from those angles it looks like the hitters just swing at garbage all the time. But then again, I can’t evaluate talent.
