  1. So we just need to figure out who that 4 that aren't taken yet and we will know who we bought, easy.
  2. They should stop everything they do with him and put him on the velocity program, might fix his arm.
  3. Pretty sure he's the only starter that wasn't suppose to play against us.
  4. Just finished voting like 200 times using quite a few emails. You could also vote using pretty much every email that exists (doesn't have to be yours), just make sure to remove the check box from receiving emails and such.
  5. Astros Acquire Ronald Torreyes By Tim Dierkes [July 2 at 1:08pm CST] The Cubs acquired two of the Astros' international bonus pool slots for minor league second baseman Ronald Torreyes, tweets Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times.
  6. Dodgers, Cubs Swap Guerrier, Marmol By Tim Dierkes [July 2, 2013 at 1:03pm CST] In a swap of relievers who had been designated for assignment, the Cubs announced they have acquired Matt Guerrier from the Dodgers for Carlos Marmol and Chicago's fourth international signing bonus slot. That slot is worth $209,700 in pool money, announced the Dodgers, who had a pool of $2,112,900. The Cubs acquired $388,100 in pool money from the Orioles minutes ago, so Chicago still adds $178,400 to their pool.
  7. My guess is, the only reason he was drafted in the 28 round is because of his velocity, if he can work on that (the velocity program) and still keep his command then he could have a bright future, specially with his height.
  8. Looks like it, yes.
  9. Maybe we are going to trade with Miami, give them all our pool in exchange for Justin Nicolino.
  10. As i said in the other thread, get him to ask people about the Steve Delabar program. Blue Jays have exclusive rights with the guy who made that program, it got Delabar from being out of baseball to back in it throwing 95-97 mph and Brett Cecil was in a huge decline with his velocity throwing 89 mph back to throwing 92-94 mph. That program involves weighted balls mimicking the hitting action of a tennis racket. So they would use those ball to throw in the air but still hold them in the hand. It strengthen shoulder muscles big time and helps with durability.
  11. Miami are amazing, i wonder how long before they sell their prospects for nothing. Maybe we can get some of our prospects back...
  12. Tell your nephew to ask for the Steve Delabar program, now that we have exclusive rights with the guy who made that program, it should be available too all Blue Jays. It might give him more velocity and worse case scenario, it will help his arm stay durable.
  13. I was hoping we have the best chance to sign who we want based on the amount of Dominican players we have on our roster, but who knows.
  14. I doubt it, they said quite a few times that money is not a problem if AA thinks we can compete. AA also said quite a few times that they don't touch his draft money and he can spend as much as possible.
  15. And people were saying that AA throws pitchers at the wall trying to see who will stick, Miami is the real definition of that.
  16. That's sweet, who is he? I hope he does well.
  17. So you would trade Delabar for Happ?
  18. At this rate they will need to create more minor league teams to put all those players at.
  19. Twins blew it big time, i think we should get some of their players, maybe take that big heavy contract of Mauer off their hands?
  20. I don't like those matchups, hopefully tomorrow their hitters will be off due to the Dickey effect. Then all we need for Wang to keep us in the game and some run support without EE and Lind, easy...
  21. Should have just kept it as Edwing, makes more sense with his wing than wing ing.
  22. I don't understand why they put him number 5 in the lineup, why not 3 or 4?
  23. Jimenez looks promising, he went 1 for 3 with 2 walks playing DH today. Doesn't seem to have home run power though.
