  1. Bautista cause he likes hitting against the Twins.
  2. They are not contending so why waste money? Shady but they have a point.
  3. I'm pretty sure most fans were happy to give him away, not really sure to be honest. He was decent/solid with the occasional great.
  4. We don't really have anyone to sell and if you give up JJ, does it worth losing a draft pick next year? Specially knowing that it will be a heavy talented draft?
  5. That could also mean a complete 1 year, specially since they have rules about age of player between x-y dates, technically a period of 2014-2015 could be 1 year.
  6. You guys realize that she been with Rasmus way longer than he became popular...
  7. Finally a decent lineup, with some luck we will be able to split the series, or not.
  8. I'm pretty sure JP knows he's playing poorly and pretty sure everyone around him keep telling him that 24/7. Kinda pointless for other media guys to rip at him all the time too. JP says he doesn't care what they think but obviously he does. I tend to agree with JP but on the other hand, not sure this horror story is the way to go.
  9. We have a mix and match group of infielders, that's why it's like that. Plus, Davis been hot in certain situations so he put him in the 2 hole. Lind came back so it made more sense to put Bautista and Lind behind him. The game against Fister, we had good hits but then when they came to the bottom of our lineup, we were garbage. That's why we couldn't score 1 run in both the 8th and the 9th. By putting Davis lower, you kinda help your bottom lineup a bit. I'm 100% behind Gibby.
  10. Can't believe we actually have a proven prospect with track record that can hit. Usually all our farm is hearsay.
  11. The plus about getting someone like that is that we don't need to give any prospects, we are thin as it is there.
  12. What i don't understand is how come alot of our pitchers get rattled so easily while others don't. It was a miracle JJ was able to finish the 2nd inning to be honest.
  13. No idea what we're going to do with JJ to be honest. Not sure we can give him a contract, not sure anyone will want him now so the only thing left is giving him a qualified offer and hopefully he doesn't take it and we get a draft pick. I guess we can also give him a short term contract and hope for the best.
  14. What's the point from his point of view to turn down a first round pick? He thinks we will be able to get more money than last time he was drafted?
  15. So why don't they just try everyone from A-AA? I'm sure there are others you could try and see what happens.
  16. The only "problem" is that if we don't sign Bickford, our 5% overhead will be about 150k shorter.
  17. AA always seem to find a way to cheat the system, gotta give him that. Let's hope we can sign those other guys.
  18. I don't think it's a great idea to rush another young guy... Nolin was unbeatable until he came up...
  19. That was probably a ground into double play swing...
  20. Do you prefer socks or losing games? I choose socks.
  21. Can i attach my vote to whatever vdubmvp is choosing? If not, ill go with Lind.
  22. At least we have a bench today.
  23. I honestly don't know how we can make a trade, we have no prospects to trade, all we have is Bonifacio and maybe some of the rehab pitchers.
  24. WEDNESDAY: Wang would accept an assignment to Triple-A Buffalo instead of electing free agency, agent Alan Chang of Octagon told Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/starter-wang-would-accept-role-in-buffalo/
  25. 1 of them is the roving starter so it doesn't really count.
