  1. Funny, in the offseason we were praying he will come back and play. Now, we pray he will be traded.
  2. I guess they think it's easier to find 3B than 2B. Besides, even though Izturis doesn't have the range that Lawrie has at 3B, his defense is smarter and more mature so it's not a big down over Lawrie, at least for now. It's also pretty clear who they want to keep out of Derosa, Kawasaki, Bonifacio and Izturis, obviously he's the only one who can hit on some level of consistency.
  3. The only thing i don't like about his defense right now is the fact he tries to back hand too many balls in the dirt and causes the runners to advance, other than that he got better at defense.
  4. I assume that trying to hit a 60mph ball in your sweet spot doesn't take as much effort as hitting a 95mph fastball, but i'm not sure cause to be honest i never tried any of those. Besides, knowing Bautista, he's all about competing and that's a competition.
  5. I don't know if i agree or not but i see the rational and i'm pretty sure they are doing what they believe will give the team a better chance of winning. For the whole season i was looking for the Dickey effect but can't really see i noticed any difference, so might aswell try something else.
  6. They will need to lose like 10 straight for us to have a real chance, so i don't care how much they're hurt, it's not likely to happen.
  7. It is a mental game but there is a difference between getting Dickey out of a game after 80 pitches cause you don't trust him and choosing which team is a better fit for him to play against so he can win.
  8. You don't swing full might at everything, you swing at pitches you like.
  9. I wonder how many Yankees players are on that list, by the sound of things, they should be the leaders in the department. Not sure if you guys remember but when Reyes went down and the whole team was s***, Melky was the only one who was hitting. He played when he was hurt and it didn't help his fielding either.
  10. Why shatter his confidence? They gain confidence by succeeding, if they think it will improve his chances of winning then it will improve his confidence not shatter it. If he's lose then it probably wouldn't make any difference.
  11. For some reason i had a feeling this thread will be up and running tonight
  12. Didn't we just got Hernandez like couple of days ago? What's the point in releasing him that fast?
  13. They are trying to make the best with what they have, just let them be.
  14. He will be fine, he just needs some time.
  15. Wait, so they think Pillar is useless? Dammit.
  16. Sure we will eat his salary, it's not your money, lol.
  17. Sounds like our entire starting depth needs to be in the pen. Maybe have a bullpen of 14 arms and play every game by committee.
  18. I haven't seen anything to suggest D'Arnaud is going to be a big hit in the big league, Myers on the other hand...
  19. To me, players know that he's having hard time throwing strikes so anything low they know will hit the dirt so they don't touch it. If you give him more velocity it might help his fastball and in turn help with his breaking balls.
  20. Rush him? They have 20 days to rehab him i think, how many has it been already? Feels like at least 2 weeks.
  21. Shouldn't he be playing in Buffalo too before being called up?
  22. Sounds like the gap between Delabar and the rest has grown, yesterday they said there was 600k votes between all 5 and today they are saying there is 180k between the bottom 4.
  23. Is that really a good thing?
  24. I wish they would show the whole play, should be funny.
