  1. He's a big guy who's afraid to attack hitters, pretty sure that's his problem.
  2. I was upset when he said he's glad he left that forsaken country. Now when you mentioned it was about Trayvon Martin it made me even more upset. By the law they have in Florida, it was insane to convict Zimmerman, maybe if they lowered the standard of manslaughter he would have been guilty. The way the law works there, there is very little difference between first degree murder, 2nd degree and manslaughter. It was alot closer to accidental death with negligence than it was murder which is why he wasn't convicted. To say his country is forsaken... I don't like that path, it generally leads to senseless riots on the street.
  3. He's just a kid but usually when they start talking like that, they become terrible human beings. I hope i'm wrong.
  4. Prince Fielder also isn't very athletic but he somehow managed to compensate and get a triple. Anything is possible.
  5. I smell the next Verlander.
  6. From Wiki: "In 2002, Law was hired by the Toronto Blue Jays as a "Consultant to Baseball Operations" after impressing Blue Jays' general manager J. P. Ricciardi during the offseason winter meetings.[4] Paul DePodesta had recommended Law to him and Ricciardi asked Law's opinions regarding the approaching Rule 5 draft of that year, and, impressed with Law's answers and explanations, offered him a position with the team.[5] During his time with the Blue Jays, he acted as a major league and minor league scout, contract negotiator, and provided assistance to the team's marketing and sales staffs.[2] Law reached the position of "Special Assistant to the GM" before resigning in 2006 to work at ESPN.[6]"
  7. If i didn't know better i'd say there is a strong grudge there...
  8. MLBTR mentioned him.
  9. During the all star they said it will happen during the off season. Not sure if it was cause of the leak or just because they figure everyone is going to appeal anyway.
  10. Truth is, no one knows. Would you rather we find out or other teams find out?
  11. As long as it's first round supplemental, that's pretty much a first round pick.
  12. I think he doesn't have alot of power but i could be wrong. IMO (without seeing him above the raw numbers) we need more players like him.
  13. Looks like the Carly Rae Jepsen pitch to be honest...
  14. I found it to be a little bit unfair to be honest. It was clear that Leyland did everything he could to win it while the other guy didn't. They way he used Cecil and Delabar reminds me of someone with unlimited resources doing everything he can to make sure it goes his way.
  15. Yea i know but i was sure he's a Spanish guy so was shocked to listen to his English. Then i remembered that Puerto Rico belongs to the US. At least we know he can communicate with the pitchers.
  16. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/jimenez-tommy-john-was-best-thing-for-me/ Holy s***, his English is amazing.
  17. If needed usually means if we are in contention. We are clearly not.
  18. What i don't understand is how does anyone believe that they are worth a big contract? Same with Darvish (clearly now you can see that he does)
  19. It doesn't really matter, media attention fades away very quickly, what stays is winning record. If you have it people will be happy, if you don't we failed anyway.
  20. He's right, we do have enough talent.
  21. Wait, what happens if Garza goes to FA? Don't we need to give up a first round pick if we take him then?
  22. It's really promising to see lower level guys with enough pop to hit a home run. Usually the box scores in the lower levels show 0 home runs.
  23. I'm not expert but both seem to be doing very well everywhere they been so far. If it continues, they may surprise you.
