    Um, there's a strong case to be made that he hasn't even been the second or third best starting pitcher in the American League...

    I doubt it, he's their equivalent of Marcus Stroman, but probably even better. Gray would command a big return.

    I fail to see the validity in that statement. If they score a lot of runs when they're ahead, wouldn't that be a statement to how potent the offense is? Their overall approach shows a better walk rate, a better strikeout rate, better power numbers, and much better baserunning as a team, which means that the team is simply better at all aspects of offense than the Orioles.

    Here are the offensive stats in which the Jays are better than the Orioles at (not including today, I think): HR, R, RBI, SB, BB%, K%, ISO, AVG, OBP, SLG, wOBA, wRC+, BsR (by a lot), Off Um yeah, I think I like our approach better.

    What the f*** did I just read? 51.8% of 1000 is 518, 49.0% of 1000 is 490. 518 - 490 = 28. How in the actual hell you got that the difference between them is 40 to 45 wins (WTF), and that is somehow 8 wins a year? ??????????????????????

    Joe Maddon is regarded by many as one of the best managers in baseball. He owns a career winning percentage of .518, you'd think a manager that is so highly regarded would have a record better than just barely surpassing the .500 mark. Odd.

    Sure, when the player in question is Ryan Goins you could say that. When it's Bautista, Encarnacion, Donaldson, Martin, etc. no one should really be worried that they had a slow day.

    I wouldn't really say that they're bound for regression since we legitimately have a great group of hitters. Maybe save for the days where we throw Goins out there the offense doesn't have any major holes.
