He showed great range just getting to the ball, it was tough play.

Who cares? He won't give up three homers every time, not even close, that's what the predictive stats are trying to tell you. I'm much happier about his fantastic K/BB ratio and the induced swinging strikes than I am worried that he gave up a few homers.
