  1. There's not a cloud in the sky, lol @ storm forecasts.
  2. For a reliever it is. Average FIP for starters is 3.91, for relievers it's 3.66. His walk, K and swinging strike numbers are far below average for relievers.
  3. 4.03 FIP, 4.60 xFIP, 8.0 SwStr%, 17.3 K%, 14.4 BB%. He's been awful.
  4. The game plan looks to be swing early and avoid getting behind, Sale is nasty and you don't want to face him with two strikes. Can't disagree with what the hitters are doing here.
  5. Not really, Sean Doolittle is another pitcher who throws his fastball at a very high rate (86.6% of pitches in his career) and he gets a substantial amount of swinging strikes (13.2% SwStr).
  6. For a Blue Jay or in general?
  7. Brian Dozier will definitely lose the final vote, now he won't get in because Glen f***ing Perkins is representing the Twins.
  8. Brad Boxberger over everyone.
  9. I wasn't aware this was being aired live, I'm dumn.
  10. Feeling like one of Bautista or Martin will get royally (pun intended) snubbed.
  11. We have this Edwin guy, he's a pretty good hitter.
  12. Man, I had no idea Jason Kipnis died. Too bad, such a talented young player.
  13. Oh, was your previous post meant to be sarcasm? My bad.
  14. No, a good team is the cornerstone of winning teams.
  15. It's how the cool kids are editing their posts these days.
  16. We're also likely missing the point in that Chad Jenkins suxxxxxxx
  17. Sanchez doesn't exactly pile up the strikeouts either, but sure.
  18. Aaron Sanchez minus the walks.
  19. Sanchez has the lower ERA. Not sure why you're sad.
  20. Coming into today, the Rays were 14th in the MLB in team wRC+, and 11th in positional player WAR. This narrative that their offense sucks just because they lack big name players needs to stop.
  21. Taijuan Walker is a young controllable pitcher and was a top pitching prospect for a very long time, he's also having a pretty decent year, something seemed to click after a rough start and he's been excellent ever since. This is why, like RJF has said, he's not getting traded any time soon. When teams start selling off their main assets they don't go for the 22 year old with a lot of potential and under team control. Ironically, that last sentence also applies to Daniel Norris perfectly.
  22. You guys hate on DD way too much imo.
