    Basketball is a much higher paced sport, and really you only need to know like 4 or 5 of the guys who play the majority of the game. I'm sure 95%+ of the people in yesterday's game were aware of who Donaldson, Bautista and Stroman were. Baseball is also a more complex sport to follow (IMO), there's many people watching who might not understand why a foul ball with two strikes does not mean strike 3, let alone any of the more complicated aspects of the game. Because of the difference in pace, people also tend to find baseball boring, and as such won't put in the required time to understand it.

    I like them or any of the NL teams. I do hope the Astros make it out of the AL if the Jays don't make it. All of the NL teams are very good and very exciting.

    False, it's obviously much harder but this team can certainly come back from a 2-0 deficit. Stranger things have happened.

    Plus, he's a bonafide ace. You don't sour on him after one mediocre start. That's how jobs are lost.

    There's just no way that you don't give the ball to David Price in the deciding game. Zero chance of someone else starting barring an injury. We didn't pay top price for a rental to not use him in a series clinching game.

    The worst is when they compare player by player to the players from the winning teams. Alomar and Goins should not be compared, neither should Carter and Encarnacion, or f***ing Ward and Henke with Osuna and Sanchez. Completely different teams, different eras, different game of baseball. It's time to move on and focus on what's going on right now.
