Unfortunately, for someone who was touted as a defense-first PG, Wright's D has been pretty awful, specially his help defense.

It's been 1.5 seasons of this type of performance from him. Like I said he's probably the best shooter of all time, having one of the all-time great seasons, but how about we let him do this for a few more seasons before we throw the GOAT label around?

Curry is more than likely the best shooter of all time, yes, but defense is a key aspect of the game and MJ dwarfs Curry in other aspects of offense as well.

I don't think it's possible to dislike a minor-league deal with a spring invite, much less for a player who was once a top prospect and had a decent season less than 5 years ago.
