  1. This is an absurd thing to say. Have you ever actually watched an Astros, Dogers or Cubs game? Guys like Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez, Corey Seager, Yasiel Puig, Cody Bellinger, Carlos Correa, George Springer, etc. are not coming to the plate to slap singles the other way. Also, lol @ "stats aside". That's exactly how you try to get away with making egregious statements.
  2. Close enough. He swung at an awful pitch and got lucky.
  3. Yes, take notes from the 72 wRC+ hitter with a walk rate that makes Pillar look like Bautista while also striking out 26% of the time.
  4. Did this dude just bloop a bouncing pitch into the outfield? Holy f***
  5. He has a solid reputation for having a strong arm. The throw was perfect though, so it's easier for me to say that and you to believe it blindly.
  6. The White Sox have had everything go their way tonight. They have quite a few infield hits.
  7. That was scary af, I thought he crashed because he injured himself again.
  8. Beliveau has already done more than Howell did all year.
  9. Biagini obviously wasn't very good, but he and Leone have been victims to some awful batted ball luck. Jays have drilled a few grounders right at Todd Frazier too.
  10. f***, that's awful man, sorry to hear. Best wishes to your buddy.
  11. I mean, 7-1 in the bottom of the second isn't an insurmountable deficit.
  12. Well yeah, but what's the point of leaving in there for longer and risk more runs being given up? Better starters than him have done worse, they made it out just fine. Anyone in this thread who suggested that he should go back to the bullpen immediately and/or permanently as a result of this one poor performance is a reactionary idiot and deserves to be called out as such.
  13. Confidence is a thing. Biagini's shown a lot of promise up to this point, no need to completely crush him as if he's Casey Lawrence or something.
  14. Biagini really struggling to find the strikezone. Not too often you seem him like this.
  15. It's possible though unlikely that he's been making better pitches...the most likely explanation is just luck balancing itself out. Despite a higher (and unsustainable) BABIP than last season, his LOB% is a lot higher, around where it should be, homerun rate is down (though still a tad elevated), and he still has practically the same batted ball and plate discipline profile. Just a good pitcher not getting unlucky anymore (it could be argued that he's getting a bit lucky this year, but not exceedingly so).
  16. Left handed starter, not to mention a rather tough one at that.
  17. Hey folks. I messaged GD and he says he wants Adrian Morejon. I'll try to PM the next guy, I believe it's Boxy right? Sorry for the delay.
  18. You're probably thinking of Pentecost who is 24 in A+, but obviously he also suffered substantial injuries.
