  1. You're delusional. They're literally some of the best baseball players in the world. Pretty sure no one's been s***ing the bed.
  2. Okay I thought it was Abreu. Barnes should have this easily.
  3. Tough assignment for Barnes. Would be good for him to shut it down as he usually does and get himself into higher leverage roles in the future.
  4. People are incredibly reactionary on this board.
  5. Did he help that get over the wall? Nice swing from Russell.
  6. People will still say that the Jays had a bad approach in the inning lol.
  7. They literally hit three solo homeruns yesterday and that was all they needed.
  8. The White Sox are apparently the Tampa Bay Rays of the AL Central.
  9. Well if he's done he's done. You can't teach him to go against the approach that made him a great hitter, you just have to hope he hasn't declined enough and will still have stretches where he resembles the Bautista of old. Pitchers probably aren't really doing anything too differently than when the league figured out how not to pitch him, Bautista is just older and his skills have eroded.
  10. Jose Bautista is an extreme pull hitter, that's what made him into an elite slugger in the first place. Carlos Correa isn't, that wasn't the point I was making. Both come with the idea of murdering baseballs into the bleachers, if they get pitches around the zone, regardless of who's on base.
  11. This is an absurd thing to say. Have you ever actually watched an Astros, Dogers or Cubs game? Guys like Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez, Corey Seager, Yasiel Puig, Cody Bellinger, Carlos Correa, George Springer, etc. are not coming to the plate to slap singles the other way. Also, lol @ "stats aside". That's exactly how you try to get away with making egregious statements.
  12. Close enough. He swung at an awful pitch and got lucky.
  13. Yes, take notes from the 72 wRC+ hitter with a walk rate that makes Pillar look like Bautista while also striking out 26% of the time.
  14. Did this dude just bloop a bouncing pitch into the outfield? Holy f***
  15. He has a solid reputation for having a strong arm. The throw was perfect though, so it's easier for me to say that and you to believe it blindly.
  16. The White Sox have had everything go their way tonight. They have quite a few infield hits.
  17. That was scary af, I thought he crashed because he injured himself again.
  18. Beliveau has already done more than Howell did all year.
  19. Biagini obviously wasn't very good, but he and Leone have been victims to some awful batted ball luck. Jays have drilled a few grounders right at Todd Frazier too.
  20. f***, that's awful man, sorry to hear. Best wishes to your buddy.
