  1. Lol poor Morales had flashbacks as he was nearing home, you could see him slow down even more.
  2. So many double plays, ugh.
  3. It was one swing and he made contact lol. I understand your concerns but until he has a 4 strikeout game where he can't hit a breaking ball then we should remain optimistic.
  4. Billy Burns is horrendous, we might as well just trade Liriano for a pure salary dump or keep him if that's the best we can get for him.
  5. While I agree that it's a bit surprising how serviceable he became, his minor league numbers really aren't that bad. He was above average as a 22 year old in AA and league average as a 23 year old in AAA with good contact numbers, as a shortstop. While he clearly wasn't fit for the position, those kind of guys usually get a look in the big leagues; moving him off SS seems to have done him a big favour, as he's about an average to slightly below defender in other places around the diamond.
  6. Chris Mitchell seems like a real gem. I can't say I know if KATOH/KATOH+ does a good job at projecting future MLB'ers, but he seems very open to getting feedback and suggestions on how to improve his model and he explains with valid arguments why some guys may or may not appear out of place.
  7. Looks like everyone thought they were being clever today and chose Charlie Morton.
  8. So that's one top 10 prospect, two top 50 prospects, another top 100 prospect and then some fringe just outside top 100 guys and alright depth at the backend of the list. It's not quite the White Sox but it's pretty darn good.
  9. That's an awful package. Miguel Sano is like a top 20-30 dynasty asset. Brian Johnson is total garbage, Javier Baez is only just okay, I like Matt Chapman but he strikes out at a very high rate so there's a lot of risk there, and Clint Frazier is alright I guess but his SSS peripherals in the majors are awful and his ceiling doesn't come close to Sano's. Those guys are nowhere near his value.
  10. I bet Boxy is eating himself away at the fact that "boring platoon bats" Yonder Alonso and Logan Morrison became top 20 hitters.
  11. He'd be Melvin Upton all over again except without the track record. No thanks.
  12. Broxton is terrible though.
  13. As if Dave Cameron is the ultimate source on prospect value. Did you see people tear him to shreds on his article about the White Sox acquiring "too many risky prospects" (paraphrased)? Dumbrowski is certainly trading Devers for JD or Machado imo.
  14. I can sense Ben Revere being brought up here.
  15. Also saying that Marcum, McGowan, Romero and Morrow were the future is egregious. McGowan was long dead by the time Morrow was in the picture, and when the latter emerged as a great SP for us Marcum was traded for Lawrie.
  16. Luckily all of these guys have a very big dissimilarity between the ones that you mentioned.
  17. Bautista wasn't great during his first couple of months with us. Edwin was a complete butcher and didn't hit a ton, I think his baserunning was also criticized.
  18. Osuna just made Pedroia look silly. What a man.
