  1. The Orioles are making us look like the Astros.
  2. The Orioles are impressively bad.
  3. Lol Dylan Bundy suxxxx too. The Orioles are hilariously bad.
  4. Another great part of it is the fact that the pitch was right down the middle.
  5. Trade for Steve Pearce, you know you want to.
  6. Man Matt Vasgersian is so dumb.
  7. Put that boy Biggio in AAA.
  8. No one's sipping any juice lol. The Raptors objectively got better for next season, lost a big contract which facilitates the rebuild if/when Leonard walks, and didn't lose their top young players to do so. No one's beating Golden State this year, might as well see if we can make a push in the playoffs and give the fans a Finals appearance before we might have to start rebuilding.
  9. The Raptors should definitely be favourites in the East, top 3 team in the conference easily. Arguably a top 3 team in the league after the Warriors and in the mix with the Rockets, Celtics, Sixers. The improvement of going from Derozan to a (potentially) healthy Kawhi Leonard is massive, and we also added Danny Green who is gonna solidify the team a lot. At the end of the day, I like Poeltl but losing him is not nearly as big a hit as it would have been losing OG, Siakam or Delon. We also brought back VanVleet who was brilliant off the bench. We do need to acquire a backup big since Ibaka is awful and Nogueira was non-tendered.
  10. I had not realized that Clint Frazier has been tearing s*** up at AAA.
  11. You're aware of the Kawhi situation right? The Spurs basically had zero leverage because Leonard's group and manager/uncle are super toxic and completely shattered relations between the two camps. The Lakers on the other hand had all the leverage in the world since he seems deadset on going to them a year from now, so giving up promising young pieces when they could have both wouldn't make sense for them, specially since the Warriors are going to be unstoppable again this season.
  12. Yeah I was under the impression that he was at least a 0.5-1 win player. He's been bleeding value for two months now.
  13. I guess trading JD for another 3B makes sense.
  14. Solarte's regression hit him like a bag of bricks. He's basically the same offensive player as last year, but he's an awful baserunner and his defense has been below average, not what it looked like in mid-May when he was walking like Joey Votto and hitting bombs from both sides of the plate.
  15. Yeah clearly. The Indians have been moving him around for a while now, and since he hasn't been tried at first it means they just don't believe in his abilities behind the plate.
  16. Meh, he's a 27 year old rookie reliever without elite strikeout rates in the minors, I don't think his inclusion is at all significant. The Indians must both a) really like Brad Hand and the impact of elite relievers in the playoffs and be quite down on Mejia and his future as a catcher at the MLB level
  17. Pick 53 became pick 48 due to people not using higher picks and having those dissolved, thus everyone moved up.
  18. He's right in that Manny Machado didn't play "The Orioles way", he's actually really good at baseball.
  19. He said inconsequential, Demar's achievements on a team and personal level are much more "consequential" than many random scorers that were just putting up empty stats on a bad team.
  20. You're my favourite poster.
  21. This is a really bad take. He literally just made All-NBA, there have been plenty of guys much worse and less recognizable than Derozan who put up 20 PPG.
  22. f*** everything about acquiring Wiggins lol. He's not a good player and will be making about as much as DeRozan.
  23. It's not just if he's healthy, it's also if he doesn't pull a Vince Carter and quit on the team. I might be alright with one year of elite productivity, but that's not a given with Kawhi Leonard right now.
  24. Sad to lose Poeltl, I think he has excellent potential even if his shooting is limited. The guy seems to have elite positioning, he's always at the right spot, San Antonio is a great place for him.
  25. Or he could be Kawhi-lite, and doesn't yet have a s***** uncle and manager that has continually stated that he wants to leave and only leave for the Lakers. If Kawhi somehow agrees to give a s*** and then maybe even sign here long-term then cool, not really seeing that happening though.
