  1. Playing at the Coliseum is really underrated as a Jays fan's nightmare. I'd say it's up there with the Trop as some of the worst viewing experiences for us.
  2. This is just the annual occurrence where Chris Sale somehow gets himself out of the Cy Young lead, nothing to see here.
  3. Prince Fielder is still being paid, I believe the Rangers had insurance on his contract so they're covering the contract. He also takes up a 40 man spot IIRC.
  4. He's bad but has good strikeout numbers for the most part, I think that's all they cared about.
  5. He also throws 99-100 consistently and has an outrageous breaking ball, I'm not too worried with his sequencing as long as he can get strikes when he needs to.
  6. He knows, he's just pointing out that Osuna is someone with elite command whereas the Astros fan might not agree that Giles has that.
  7. I'm pretty sure Clippard's been moved before in August, likely several times.
  8. Clippard is probably gone in August. Not sure about Granderson, I would assume the same but I'm surprised there were no takers if he really hasn't been moved.
  9. Another high K guy. He probably sucks but the FO clearly has a type, and I like that these are the kind of guys that they target.
  10. You thought Loup wouldn't get moved? He was like our best reliever with Osuna and Oh gone lol.
  11. Seems like it's just Meadows and Glasnow, awful deal for Tampa IMO. The Pirates came away like bandits here, retaining Archer for 3 full seasons after this one.
  12. I had never heard of this guy until just now but considering his age and MiLB numbers I'm quite pleased with the return.
  13. RyanKalishFan called everyone in the Dozier deal as well. Who do you know dude lol?
  14. The MLB trade deadline is underrated among sports, but maybe that's just because a lot of people don't care about baseball. It's consistently one of the most exciting and shocking days of the year.
  15. Stroman and Chris Archer are at least a tier apart IMO, and Archer is still cheap until 2021.
  16. He was quietly a very nice reliever for a lot of years now who for some reason or another could never break the hump into being truly good but never went bad either. Solid tenure with the organization.
  17. I kind of really hate that for Tampa if that's all they could get for Archer. Two years ago I would have felt a lot different about it. I'm sure there's more to it however.
  18. Paulino's never had control issues, Perez is the one who could really benefit from fewer walks.
  19. Wouldn't Paulino be the good minor league SP and Perez the lottery ticket?
  20. Justin Williams, Genesis Cabrera, Roel Ramirez and international bonus money in exchange for Pham.
  21. Oh yeah? Well Chris Davis also went on a tear in the same timeframe, a scorching .167/.259/.413 with 9 HR.
  22. Wisler was tried out as a reliever last year and he was somehow even worse than as a starter. Definitely the right way to go though, they've already done the same with Lorenzen and Amir Garrett.
