  1. We did/do have one of those. Unfortunately throwing gas isn't enough and Aaron Sanchez really sucks.
  2. His numbers aren't bad at all, if this demotion is performance-based then the Astros just did a very stupid thing. Jon Gray-esque.
  3. I think this is a really common misconception that gets thrown around a lot. Bo will not be facing better competition in AA, the talent level at AAA is much better, and AAA also contains some of those "high-level" (i.e. top 100 prospects is what I assume you mean) arms who are more advanced. Those journeyman starters are much better than their counterparts in AA, because a lot of them actually have MLB experience. If Bo isn't ready for AAA then he shouldn't face the better competition as it could hurt his development, but the argument shouldn't be that he should stay down because he might bat against a couple more top prospect pitchers that aren't even as polished as the journeymen in AAA.
  4. It's really dumn but I'm sure he really trusts his whole throwing program and his arm for now has been incredibly durable. He's an unorthodox player all around but it's gotten him results thus far in his career. Will be interesting to watch unfold.
  5. Lol @ IBB'ing Morales while losing 6-1 after a 5-run inning.
  6. Lmao when Rivera decides to stop someone Pillar ignores him and there's not even a throw.
  7. It was but in his defense it's much harder to get rid of the ball when there's a swing, especially on a 3-2 count.
  8. Why on earth did Solarte pick that ball up? Let it roll dude, see if it goes out.
  9. Yeah no kidding, ours looks like it was made by 3rd graders when compared to the BBDL and DDL's, although z3r0s and Abom went above and beyond there.
  10. Man Stroman really is an exceptional athlete. If he were like 6-7 inches taller with that athleticism he could've had his pick at any sport professionally most likely.
  11. Smoak is great.
  12. I'd also like to point out how triggered I am that some of the picks aren't listed in order, it's not that hard guys lol. Connorp's got a shitshow going on with both his MiLB and waiver picks.
  13. Fixed that one issue, the rest of the draft order appears to be correct.
  14. The ump just ruined an easy 4 pitch walk to Grichuk, luckily he walked anyways.
  15. Ok so spittin isn't using pick 72 it seems so pick 64 belongs to connorp and everyone moves a spot up.
  16. I'm not sure what needs to be done but I'll go through the draft order right now.
  17. I mean that's always been the nature of the sport, it just seemed like last year every post-post-hype prospect and every power prospect from the minors broke out. Also Jed Lowrie.
  18. I could have sworn this was already done when I took a look at processing the deal. My bad, thanks P2F (?) for taking care of it.
  19. Wow I had a really nice week, how about that.
  20. J4L19 is cutting Gilberto Celestino, Reggie Lawson and Kevin Newman. He sent me an email before the cut deadline, I'm assuming he was banned again over Garrett Cooper lol. Posting so me or BTS can process when we have a chance.
  21. Yeah no, he's been stellar but he doesn't even crack the top 5 starters this season thus far.
  22. The Oakland A's got robbed, Jed Lowrie and Matt Chapman have much stronger cases than some of the guys here.
  23. The one All-Star per team rule is screwing over a lot of deserving candidates. Happ and Jimenez look way out of place, Berrios shouldn't be there over Eddie Rosario. James Paxton hilariously robbed. What the f*** is Mitch Moreland doing on the team over Andrew Benintendi? Some egregious decisions here.
  24. Alex Colome and Edwin Diaz just completely shut the door down for the Mariners in the 8th and 9th, 6 strikeouts in a row.
