    So does Rich Hill's. It's actually pretty apparent that Pannone's fastball is easily his best pitch. Hitters are fooled by it, I think it's similar to Estrada's fastball where deception combined with a high spin rate makes it a much better pitch than the velocity would suggest. With that said he's probably only a #5 starter at best, or a potentially effective LOOGY, he seemed to be able to get whiffs out of the bullpen.

    Khris Davis is like the right handed version of Adam Dunn except he doesn't walk nearly as much.

    Uh...Khris Davis is a butcher and a half. Even if he was an average defender, the upper tier of the AL is so high that he still wouldn't be close. He's not even the best player on his own team, man MLB managers are stupid.

    Fun fact: Tony Gwynn averaged 17.5 strikeouts per 537 PA between 1991 and 1996, never once cracking the 20 K benchmark.

    I like how the Twins broadcast have a superimposed strikezone that clearly shows where the ball lands, and yet they complain that a pitch that was in the zone was too high because Mauer argued with the ump about it.

    Buck Martinez may just have outdid himself. He was going on a rant that analytics are diminishing pitcher wins because supposedly there are other factors or whatever, and then he claims "but the championship teams are always among the leaders in starter wins". This was a real statement, and he completely believes it, doesn't see any problem with it at all.
