    Uh...Khris Davis is a butcher and a half. Even if he was an average defender, the upper tier of the AL is so high that he still wouldn't be close. He's not even the best player on his own team, man MLB managers are stupid.

    Buck Martinez may just have outdid himself. He was going on a rant that analytics are diminishing pitcher wins because supposedly there are other factors or whatever, and then he claims "but the championship teams are always among the leaders in starter wins". This was a real statement, and he completely believes it, doesn't see any problem with it at all.

    How did that post indicate grumpiness? I don't have any issues with having kids days at the stadium, even better if it's youth baseball teams, I'm just pointing out that it wasn't a very enjoyable experience for me when I happened to go to the stadium on the same day as camp day. A bunch of kids at the stadium are objectively loud regardless of game outcome, and the roof happened to be closed too so it only amplified it.
