  1. Drury was brutal the last time that he played OF in the majors two seasons ago, maybe he'll be better now but I'd see Gurriel as the more likely of the two to see OF time, I believe he played some CF in Cuba.
  2. I'd be afraid of starting his service time clock too soon, the fanbase might not like it but we might have to wait until May 2020 to get that extra year of control in with the team unlikely to be competitive next season.
  3. Buck just said the Blue Jays have a chance to play spoiler with the Indians in town. Uhh...the Indians have a 16 game lead in their division lmao, and they're nowhere near the top teams either.
  4. Jesus, Tellez is murdering the baseball to all fields.
  5. Reese McGuire reminds me a lot of Jonathan Lucroy visually behind the plate. Very compact and low crouch position and his glove barely moves.
  6. Guerrieri, probably Mark Leiter Jr., Pompey, Rhiner Cruz. Solarte is probably gone meaning he'll be off the 40-man.
  7. Rowdy Tellez is basically Lyle Overbay then.
  8. Sanchez better be vacuuming everything in the dirt for the next inning because Severino looks like he wants nothing to do with him.
  9. I agree, but on the other hand, the Coliseum at night saved him two flyballs which would have been no-doubters in a lot of other ballparks. He wasn't that bad or good but he certainly got nothing from his defense.
  10. Is it really the yips though? I swear he's always been awful at receiving, watching him in the playoffs especially is painful when usually every other team has a rock behind the plate.
  11. Lol wtf is he doing?
  12. Severino's getting rocked, the A's would have multiple homers in Yankee Stadium and most other ballparks outside Oakland.
  13. Gary Sanchez is so bad behind the plate.
  14. I love it, it's so wild and untamed.
  15. Lol he didn't know how many outs there were, but neither did the LF it seems.
  16. Tellez is an absolute unit. Good for him!!
  17. Damn son what a catch!
  18. I was just pointing out that his contact rate on those pitches is fine, plenty of good hitters are around ~70%, on the other hand the majority of elite hitters have low O-swing rates.
  19. Wow we're crushing Glasnow, didn't expect that tbh.
  20. Well the O-Contact is fine, 70% is around Mike Trout's career average, the O-Swing for sure needs to drop a lot. He swings and misses at exactly a league average rate so that's fine, but would likely go down if he stopped swinging at pitches outside the zone.
  21. Tellez sounds like a really nice guy.
  22. Even if what you said is true, Sam Gaviglio would be a pretty decent get out of a compensation pick that most likely would have flamed out within a few years.
  23. It's two weeks of an injured Josh Donaldson dude, of course it's going to look lopsided. At least we got something out of him, this season was the worst case scenario for the front office and they tried to salvage anything they could out of it. You know what's a lopsided deal, Noah Syndergaard + Travis d'Arnaud for a f***ing 40 year old knuckleballer.
  24. The offense is getting demolished but at least Borucki has looked good again after a few bad outings.
