    Jimmy Nelson or Nate Eovaldi could be moved instead of Thornton if that's your cup of tea. Either player would be moved along with pick 43 for an upcoming selection. Could add a reliever like Yoan Lopez or Howie Kendrick.

    He projects for a >5 ERA/FIP, idk I don't think the Red Sox are the kind of team that needs a guy like this to eat up innings for them. Either they're using him as a reliever and hoping his velocity and stuff plays up or they just traded two lottery tickets for a lateral move IMO.

    The Orioles traded Andrew Cashner to the Red Sox for two 17 year olds. Given that Cashner is vomit inducing I like that deal for the orange birds.

    Not sure if there would be interest, but I would be willing to package Trent Thornton + MiLB 43 for an upcoming pick. I have a few targets in mind so feel free to make an offer at any time though I would be looking to make the trade closer to the pick to guarantee one of those guys.
