Uh Vlad's ceiling with the bat is inner circle HoF. I like Bo's potential but they're worlds apart in terms of offensive ceiling, and that's not a knock on him.

Not really. He's a natural 2B who plays the outfield well, particularly the corner OF. He's just very capable at every position you put him in.

I totally understand that, but if you're the Angels you already have this guy who can barely stay healthy while DH'ing 3-4 days a week. I don't think you can take the chance. The second idea is cool, I could see something like that implemented at least one day a week where it's basically just a long toss day for him.

Because if he's throwing 97-99 in his starts for 5-6 innings and then having to make long throws from the outfield in his non pitching days it could f*** up his arm. He's already not the most durable guy at this stage in his career.

Not sure there's a whole lot of trade value for an average defensive catcher who can't hit and has no options.
