  1. ???? Do you think McKinney will have a better mlb career then Reed Johnson ????
  2. Nothing special, he had a 92-94 fastball, he gave up way too many warning track flyballs to go along with 2 hrs. Pentecost hit a hr off a starter who was topping out at 91mph, so that doesn't count.
  3. Met Jackson Mclelland's dad tonight at the NH game, he said that Jackson is probably going to the AFL again this year. Jackson is the only guy in our system hitting 100 right besides Pearson?
  4. Cmon Grant..
  5. Yep, well I've never seen him pitch much besides some twitter clips. This Trenton lineup though is pretty bad though...
  6. VGJ, DJ, Borucki, Pearson, Bichette ..
  7. McKinney had a 300obp this year in AAA fyi
  8. Jays Milb stadium rankings according to the ones I've been to this year... NH > Buffalo > Dunedin ST Complex > Dunedin Main Stadium Gonna see Hector Perez tonight for game 2, lets see if hes any good...
  9. Reed Johnson with/without the giant platoon splits?
  10. The Trenton starter was topping out at 90,91, Bichette also made an error on that first pitch of the game that somehow was scored as a single. The NH stadium is nicer then Dunedin, man Dunedin is such a hunk of junk lol
  11. Go to the shoppers drug mart at bayview/york mills, you can see/talk to McCowan in his black GMC Yukon, or his Jaguar coupe, he is their several times a week, or in his mansion on country lane that he bought from Doug Gilmour (I don't know which one it is though).
  12. Davis, Smith, Tellez and Urena combined will get <= 50 AB in September right?
  13. Schimpf 2016, Marisnick 2017
  14. Yea I know it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that someone who has a career line of 262/297/398 in the minors won't be able to keep up 424/438/648.
  15. Anyone know who the starters are for NH game 1/2? Zeuch and Romano probably? Im 99% gonna book a small trip to the games in NH later today.
  16. He isn't a good hitter or defender now. The history of guys that walk 3-5% and strikeout 20-25% isn't good. Take out his July performance and his OPS is is the 500s. He has hit 139/175/139 over 40PA since he came back. He might become good/average but the odds are against it.
  17. I’m simply telling JH that luck is involved with BABIP, he doesn’t seem to understand that. But he is from the spanky/bts/Burlingtonbandit/etc school of internet trolls 1. Never admit your wrong 2. Insult opponent when your wrong 3. Just ignore the posts
  18. https://www.fangraphs.com/library/pitching/babip/ BABIP is important because the frequency with which a player gets a hit on a ball in play or allows a hit on a ball in play is very telling. Three main factors influence BABIP and all three of those factors tell us something important about that player’s overall stat line. Those factors are defense, luck, and talent level. a) Defense Luck c) Talent Level
  19. This guy right?
  20. Sorry to hear, I'm pretty sure I know who it is based of the heckling and large size of the individual you mentioned. This person attended alot of games back in 06-10, I saw him alot when I had the Jays Pass.
  21. Not a bad point Deadpool, but I guess we are both right and both wrong. Sure would AA only 46.4% of the time be unlucky, but you are lucky to get AA that often over such a small sample. Gurribabip was lucky and unlucky in July.. /thread
  22. Sanchez is 26, with nearly 450IP under his belt it's safe to say he is what he is at this point.. "Dominant" relievers dont -Have splits like him -Walk 3.8 bb/9 -Strikeout 7 k/9
  23. But why pay him 3.5-4million to be a meh reliever? He is still probably gonna walk the world, get destroyed by lefties, and occasionally get some ground balls.
  24. Eovaldi, Harvey, Pomenranz I guess are among the cheap veterans we could get on a 1/2yr deal probably? SRF isn't a lock he still has plenty of red flags, maybe Sanchez might even be non-tendered? But I don't think we are going to be any good next year, were going to win 65-75 games, Atkins pretty much confirmed that today as well.
