If he can be this effective, especially after a rough start, then he should pitch long enough into the remaining games to make it. It looked like he might not last too long after the rough start but now he's settled in nicely. So far.

Nice! I've only been to one extra inning game and it was only 10 innings. I would have loved to be at that one.

Oh I won't miss them when the off season starts. At times I wonder if he's starting to lose touch with reality a bit.

Better than many of the guys we've had there over the years. That 6 or 7 innings he pitched in that marathon of an extras game was just great.

I'm interested in the story behind that. Unless he took a shot off his hand (which they have nets up) would be interesting to see how that happens. At least it's the end of the season and we have some depth but that's sucks for him and the club.

At this point why not? MB has had an OK year and seems to be running out of steam so give one of the young guys a shot?

MB doesn't look sharp. He got off to a great start and was lucky but damn is he seemingly unable to get through an inning without making your blood pressure go up.

Ugh! But at least that didn't let the runner move up.

He's got them out in front and swinging through/over that change up. Going to be tough unless they hit a few that he leaves over the plate.

Seems to be off to a good start. He's going to have to be effective and pitch late into the game if he wants the 200 IP mark.
