Almost fully stretched out! The season is getting awfully close. Redmond has put himself in the conversation for the 5th starting spot. From what I saw last season I think he has at least a few more years as a back-end guy. Whether he starts the year with the Jays or not he is going to get some MLB innings and have an impact on their season.
His stuff never looked bad he just cant consistently throw it in the zone. Without a significant change in Romero's ability to command the zone the results will continue to be sub par. Perhaps he would fair better out of the BP.
Sorry, to clarify I meant that in addition to your post. Moogy was/is clearly overlooking the term projection. You project stats that aren't predictive by analyzing stats that are predictive.
Dickey
Buehrle
Morrow
Happ/Hutch - Hutch can win a rotation spot. AA has a chub for his flow and deception. His Despairado. (Both of these guys would have to fail for Stroman?McGowan to get a shot IMO)
Redmond
McGowan - If DM is hitting the strike zone and healthy he is certainly the 6th SP. The Blue Jays FO must be aware of the imminent arm implosion. Milk that arm.
Stroman - Only if he pitches well
Rogers - Will be the long man and spot starter
Romero
Nolin
Drabek
