    The problem with that would be the tendency to over-use it just because it's there. I would be much happier with stuff like "dedicated foul line cameras" and "instant replays" and "competent umpires".

    Firstly, Yogi was great for his quips. They're funny, they're not meant to be taken literally. If baseball was 90% mental, some of the better posters on this board would be perennial all-stars.     ... What actual benefit does "bullet time" bring to the enjoyment of a baseball broadcast? I'm pretty happy that they seem to be one of the few broadcasts that employ a near-full-time PitchTrax (or whatever name they're using for it at the moment.)

    Also, the substance in question is on the MiLB banned substance list, and NOT on the MLB banned substance list. IIRC the stories I read said that if he'd been in the majors, there would have been no problem at all with what he took.
