    Farrell isn't exactly tearing up the world this season, it's almost as though managers don't have some sort of magical ability to win just by being crafty...

    Well, this whole discussion was based on "when Rasmus returns", I am quite fine with Gose being here until Rasmus is better... Rajai was more useful because he was a RH bat (and actually was really, really good against lefties...) so he could give guys like Rasmus and Lind breaks. With Gose being left handed, he doesn't really have a bat to displace in the line-up. Bautista isn't going to sit very often, Melky is a switch hitter and Rasmus is a lefty, so there just aren't any ABs for him when everyone is healthy on this roster. Pinch runners aren't used particularly often, and late inning defensive replacements are, by their very nature, 1-2 innings, 3 MAX. I'd rather he got regular playing time at AAA than incredibly sporadic playing time @ the MLB level. (I don't believe it would stunt his growth...)

    I've been working in recording studios for nearly 20 years (god I'm old...), bands that intentionally sound "lo-fi" irritate me to no end. And I guess I've only heard 2 of their last 3 albums then... I heard the one that came out last spring... Nothing on it really stood out to me, frankly. Only listened to it twice, didn't draw me in enough to listen to it more than that.

    He'd be a pinch runner and late inning defensive replacement for Melky. He'd get 0 at bats if he stayed up with the roster as is.

    Songs for the Deaf. There last 2 albums sound like they were recorded under water on a Fisher Price tape recorder (I was really excited for their 4th album until I heard it...)

    It would likely be Pillar that stays, platoons and all... Melky is a switch hitter, and nobody's displacing Bautista, so Gose really wouldn't have playing time.

    If someone is on DSL, it's pretty normal for them to get different IP addresses fairly regularly and blocking all of Bell's (for example) IP ranges would take a toll on a Jays board.

    St. Anger has the worst snare sound in the history of recorded music. It could be an amazing song, but I'd never know because getting past the "TING!" sound every 2 beats is impossible for me. Also, Sepultura has some awesome stuff, Roots is great, but so is most of the rest of their stuff. QOTSA has 1 album I enjoyed, Tool are gods among mortals... sometimes the Prodigy have some interesting things, and there are a few Radiohead songs that don't suck. APC is basically "Tool, but not quite as good and the bass cranked."

    Okay, so I revise my impression to: "your avatar is awesome, but you're kinda slow on the uptake..." What in the s*** could possibly be offensive about a bear holding a tommy-gun surfing on a shark? unless you are offended by awesome, I guess.

    They may have to create some sort of super world series just to give the Jays a challenge. Jays versus the Japanese and Cuban collective all-star team for the title of ultimate champions of the galaxy?
