  1. We should charge them $3 a month to try to hack the site...
  2. He is correct, the site is redirecting from a google search to the following link (which I provide for reference, there is no reason to click on it.): http://myfilestore.com/download.php?id=f7b0f43d It looks as though the file that it was trying to push has been deleted by myfilestore.com, but it also tries to pop up an ad, and you can't get here. I don't know this platform enough to suggest a fix, but I imagine there is one out there...
  3. And, as we all know, it's a fantastic idea to pay for past performance for a player in his late 30s... (yes, I know knuckleballers don't age the same way, etc... but late 30s = aches and pains and other crap for everyone, not just those that rely in fastball velocity...)
  4. I'm willing to take in a ward, like Batman with his Robin... As long as said ward doesn't mind getting his/her fingerprints on a few incriminating objects...
  5. I legitimately do not remember this happening. He said "of course payroll is going to go up", no? Up would be well above $137M, weren't we above $140 last year? I'm drunk and tired and I'm not going to look up the numbers, but that's what my JaggerBombandBeer-addled brain remembers right now...
  6. I am in love with your recent foray into dark humour. I hope this is a trend on this board (and the world in general)
  7. I still think Infante will put up better numbers than most of these guys... it's my crazy hunch of the offseason!
  8. I didn't see it mentioned, but Cory Burns cleared waivers and was outrighted...
  9. It was bad when it happened, it's still bad. No idea why that deal was made at all...
  10. Angelos probably mandated these figures... Since, y'know, he makes outrageous demands and always gets what he wants, right?
  11. Why would Aoki come here to be "insurance if s*** doesn't pan out with the guys they already have", when he has the option to go be a starter elsewhere?
  12. Only if he agrees to spend 100% of his time on Twitter and never sets foot on a baseball field.
  13. Now it's time for Hamlet 2 Edit: Left the damn "multiquote" thing on!
  14. This is a great signing, don't be an idiot. Any time you get a guy who can potentially contribute for the baseball equivalent of nothing (minor league deal), it's a worthwhile signing.
  15. I can confirm that Spanky has a head of hair almost as glorious as my own...
  16. I'd be tentatively nervous if he signed in the AL East...
  17. I'm probably more of a Rasmus guy than most on here, but really, you have no idea what you're going to get from him, other than a lot of strike outs and some truly impressive home runs. When he makes contact it's a thing of beauty, but he can get cold fast, and for long stretches. Also, he's a lot better in the field than most give him credit for.
  18. Don't get him started. Also, your "good luck with that" comment will make you laugh so hard when (if) this deal gets done and you see the perfectly appropriate return that the O's get (ie. Not a major return...)
  19. I think Zaun could slide into that role quite nicely... Though, I'm really not sure Zaun could keep himself from swearing at people CONSTANTLY. (Frankly, I don't know how Wilner does that..)
  20. I think, in the long run, you'll be happy that you guys didn't re-sign Markakis. It's s***** watching a guy who grew up with the team go like that, but I can't believe he'll be worth the contract he signed, his skills are diminishing quite a bit. He's probably a league average player in 2015, and probably below average moving on.
  21. That's some quality delusion right there!
  22. He's amazing defensively, but his bat drags his value down SO MUCH that it's very, very difficult to justify giving him a roster spot.
  23. I love what Spanky gets into the beer early!
  24. MLBTR expected him to make $1.6 through arb.
