I probably have Travis and Smoak flipped in that lineup. But really, that's not a huge deal.
And to answer the question posed in the thread title, I'd think so.
I'm with you on swinging strikes being valuable... I'm not really with you on dividing swinging strikes into "this is good" and "yeah, but it was a free swinger, so it only counts for half".
Question, since I'm lazy and you f***ers are as good (or better) than google... Do Osuna or Castro have to be added to the 40 man this year? If not, are we not handcuffing ourselves (potentially) by adding both?
Ideally, I want Castro and Osuna starting in the minors today, so perhaps they're prepared to start later this year if needed, or next year. I just don't think they're particularly valuable bullpen pieces compared to what they could be as starters.
RMBED isn't exactly WAMCO (acronym wise), but I'm sure we can manage. RMB is the official name of the currency in China, which is colloquially called "Yuan"... Maybe there's something in there.
There is no absolute black hole in that line-up. Any player on that list is capable of having a great game (and the top 5 are probable of having great games...)
f***. Yes.
