    That guy certainly is citing average a lot for an "analyst".

    I cannot think of any. The knuckleball is usually adopted by pitchers who suck hard and want to keep playing baseball, so they try it out of desperation.

    The "luck" w/r/t Sanchez is mostly that he succeeds despite walking too many, and striking out too few, batters. This is not something that, historically, has lead to long term success for any pitcher.

    That's what you're going to get when you're playing winning ball, a sacrifice I'm willing to make. (Unfortunately, my company is the official movers of the Leafs/Raptors/TFC but NOT the Jays, so we don't get free Jays tickets... BOO)

    Absolutely. Best offence in baseball at the moment (and it's not close), and our pitching has been nails of late. If our pitching holds together, we've got a great shot at a serious playoff run.

    Wasn't my proudest moment, but in the grand scheme of things, I was definitely the better person in that whole situation (and really, I could have been literally Satan's taint and been the better person in that situation). I've moved on, but I am not the type of person who hides or denies my past.

    Because they said "retooling"? I don't own the word "tool" any more than "Snap-On Tools" owned it when they tried to sue us (and backed out when we told them we'd take it to court )

    I was BrandonTheTool, because I was in a band called Strap-On Tools at the time. That band broke up in 2006, so I didn't keep the name, but I have been very clear about my previous account on this board..

    I usually use fWAR over bWAR, personally... fWAR has Pillar as the 5th most valuable Jay, which is still pretty goddamn awesome... 1 Josh Donaldson 5.9 2 Russell Martin 3.0 3 Jose Bautista 2.5 4 Devon Travis 2.4 5 Kevin Pillar 2.1 That's still pretty amazing for a guy we expected to be a 4th OF as best going forward.
