    Smoak is inarguably a more valuable player. Cola had a hot streak, and that's awesome, but he's cooled off, and his D is just painful. fWAR is 0.0 v 0.4 and Cola's had ~70 more PA's than Smoak has.

    Personally, I'm of the belief that 100% of players in the MLB use anything and everything they can get away with. I don't think the Jays are crossing any more lines than any other team, but I don't think they're pure and innocent either.
