    I would argue that Hoffman was rated more highly at the time of his trade than Syndergaard was. The Dickey trade was still incredibly stupid both at the time and in hindsight. The Hoffman one looks like it might turn out that way in hindsight, but I understood it at the time...

    Would depend on how large the botnet (I'm assuming this was a DDOS attack...) is. Smaller botnet, with fewer individual IPs to filter out could be taken down a lot more quickly than something on the scale of the EVE online attack...

    Depending on how you define "core", I agree. I mean, if your core is like... 6 players, I have no doubt that we have a very solid 6 player core... If your core is 20 players, I'm a bit less bullish on that.

    I'm fairly sure that Shatkins can see the obvious glut we have in the outfield right now. Pompey, Alford and Teo are basically right there (and all on the 40 man), and we have Pillar, Carrera and Pearce already on the big club. Signing an OF seems unlikely to me, unless they bring back Bautista because of some misguided fan loyalty thing.
