    I used to live pretty near there... I don't see that as a reasonable location for a stadium of that size (including the parking and transit required for that) at all. When the Dome was originally built, one of the possible locations they talked about was the old Maclean Hunter site at Yonge and the 401, but I'm pretty sure that's 80bajillion condos now.

    They'll be on later, we're probably only doing 2 bands, might bring in an acoustic opener, but nothing solid yet. Also, f*** that ump for that non-strike call.

    The big problem is they'd have to put 9 figures into renovations to put in natural grass, which is (probably) the ultimate goal. You need a retractable dome for Toronto baseball, which they have already... Also, don't see the current governments for the city or province investing heavily in a new stadium ('cause they know damn well that Rogers won't be moving the team...)

    Rogers makes their money off the Jays on TV, attendance is just a bonus for them. The Jays fill airtime for Rogers, that's their entire purpose.

    Where do they build a new stadium in Toronto? The location of the dome is WAY too perfect... Going to be tough to build a new one from scratch.

    Y'know, I'm still not sold that Rowdy is a first string MLB player on a good team, but he sure does make it easy to believe sometimes...
