    "Ball popping out of glove" doesn't scream "lazy" to me. He's not super used to a first baseman's glove. It's s***, but suggesting that if he'd only put in more effort he could have closed his glove better seems like just grasping for something to fault him with.

    Fangraphs apparently updated their numbers after I posted that. See above, Fangraphs was not updated until after my post, so unless they updated it once after the homer, and then again this morning (which would be... just odd) then nope. Also, the newest update puts him ahead of LGJ, for whatever that's worth.

    Well, no, this is just laughably wrong. Grichuck, Shaw, Jansen, Tellex, McGuire, Panik, Alford, Drury and Espinal all have a lower OPS than Vladdy. I mean, be an assshole if that's what gets you off, but don't be an INCORRECT *******.

    That's almost certainly a vinyl decal, and they probably have a good stock of those in Toronto, and it doesn't take much to order more (or have them installed).

    I think Pearson should have longer warmups before games, he's been shaky in the first every game so far.

    The Royal Blue is the nicest looking jersey the Jays have had in ages, would be a shame to drop it.

    Well, you didn't. But it's a different equation with a 28 man roster than with 25. I mean, the ONLY time it would become an issue (maybe) is if your catcher gets hurt really early in a close game and your pitcher is throwing well so you don't want to pull him Old-style national league ball sucked, but it's not out of the question to let the pitcher hit once or twice and then pinch hit the rest of the game if you're forced to, and the DH upgrade is worth it.

    You're playing the odds that your catcher won't get hurt... I mean, your catcher doesn't get hurt in probably 90%+ of games, so they're great odds to play...
