    Fantasy baseball, he's been playing for decades, and his leagues used to always use what were then called "advanced stats" but are now mostly the norm

    If you go by total number of cases, California is bad. Per capita they're significantly below average for the US. California is frickin' huge man, total number of cases doesn't really measure how well they're controlling it (and nowhere down south is controlling it WELL, but that's where baseball is being played...)
