I don't think he made any bad moves..... There were made prior to him arriving and he was able to get out of the Kemp contract and still get some good value back. He has Grinke coming off the books likely and if he replaces him with a more cost efficient pitcher which the market is littered with them this year he could have a little money to make improvements mid season.

My issue is how often then not do these type of break out relievers crash back down to earth in the following years. He struggles against lefties as is. He is a bigger risk not to take advantage of his value
Don't mind it. Chaves is a very solid 3-4 starter. Liam is a solid reliver who struggles against lefties when relives can be volatile. I mean can work out well.
