    Ya i don't think after 1-1/2 season of being called up a showing what he has it is hard to ditch the kid because of a couple injuries. Travis has the potential to be the top of the order bat and your likely to sell off on him at a lower value then what he could potentially be worth considering how much he is getting paid. I think you ride him out next year 1 of 2 things can happen. A) He stays healthy and puts up a solid season He has injury issues again then you think about making other options.

    Not at you look at the defensive metrics...... I mean giving the Gold Glove to KK is pretty legit in my eyes anyway.

    Here is the thing. Unless we have 180M dollar payroll they are going to have to take some chances on cheaper contracts somewhere. Due to have vacant spots in LF, RF, 1B/DH whiles still having big contracts on Martin, Tulo, JD and hopefully EE. So as i said Morales maybe a worthy risk to put up 2WAR moving him to a hitters ballpark for 8-9M per season any more then that won't be worth it in my eyes

    2/18 i don't mind. Coming into a hitters ball park it is very possible that he could put up some solid numbers. He is not really a strikeout machine and does take the odd walk. Obviously same as anyone if the price is right then it would be worth the gamble.

    Desmonds price may come down i guess due to the pick i just don't know if he is worth the pick + what he is going to be wanting on a contract.

    If you are going to sign someone with a pick to his name this is not the guy. Fowler is likely better then him and maybe worth the pick more then Desmond.

    I could see him as a Ben Zobrist type... If Tulo goes down he can step in. He can play OF/SS and i can imagine with him being a pretty good athlete could cover most of the IF spots except catcher...... I think he could be a valuable guy but I do think he will get paid well this off season.
