    I would rather do a rental player than give out what Cubs are asking for Shark. Stroman could come make an impact and if Sanchez gets his command figured out he would be a great piece too. No sense trying to trade for an ace.

    It is an interesting situation. If the blue jays don't do it this year then the likelihood is they are done for another 4 years with another rebuild. Shark is really good and i would be afraid that the asking price might have climbed up a bit with his outstanding start. One question you have to ask. Is Shark, MB, Dickey, Hutch, Happ/AAA guy a contending rotation, because there are going to be stretches where we are not going to be able to score 5 runs every game. I am not sure. If we don't get him i am not going to rage but if we go out to get him we just acquired a solid #2 possible #1 that is still fairly young. I don't know for sure.

    It sucks because your right he has nothing left to do in AAA. And i do think that Gose is the starting CF next season. However i don't think him sitting on the bench is going to do anything for him. It would be AWESOME for the team because he would be a great bench player. Gose has shown he can start here and not be a slouch at the plate. So this is basically me saying i don't know what the f*** is best to do with him.

    Yup we need our 3,4,5 to stay hot. Right now they are not missing their pitches. If that keeps happening anything can happen.

    With McGowan and Redmond there really is no need for him: Janseen Cecil Loupe Delabar Rasmussen Redmond Dusty Replace Santos and Rasmussen when he returns. 7 man Bullpen is best for baseball lol

    Not that it matter because it doesn't but the A's have only played one team (Angels) that are more than 2 games above .500 at this point. Not saying they have had it easy. Just saying that they have not been tested very much by true contenders.

    Likely won't see much of the series. But I think we will be in good shape if we can take game 1. The way our hitting is going i don't want to count anything out. Our 6 runs a game will stop eventually and come back down to earth it just can't be this series lol.
