    Might be time. Stroman's fastball is lacking. He can still spin the ball like crazy though. Wouldn't progressive guys like Shapiro or Atkins stomp the "pitch to contact" out of Stroman?

    I will go with the sentiment of some others though and say why is Travis not in there, right when it looks like he is starting to get comfortable at the plate?

    Little while longer and Travis will be here. Kind of bummed how Shapiro made it sound like it'd still be a bit before he came up. Would love to see him at the start of next week.

    Saunders, Pillar and Bautista aren't going to be taken out of the lineup.

    Bats seems convinced all his stretching and nutrition is going to keep him flying high. What baffles me is, he must at least already notice he can't throw nearly as good as he used to.

    New heads of shown why they never had any meaningful success in Cleveland. I agree with a lot of the regulars on the board about things, but AA was an easy top 10 GM. It is sad to see that these new guys lack the creativity to not let this go down the toilet. People here blew their wads because of the great depth they acquired, when the only good signings or trades made were basically the ones that were already in development before they got there. I have no faith that Atkins is an above average GM. He seems like the type of guy AA would dance circles around in any negotiation. AA's history was positive on the whole and there is nothing from this new team to make me think they will be better. It's really a shame. In a perfect world AA and Shapiro could have co-existed, which would have the potential to be one of the top front offices in baseball.

    I don't think it is very hard to tell. He is pretty clearly telling the truth. People here spend too much time at their computers and not enough time with humans. It really isn't that hard to believe that this could happen without a player knowing how.

    The Reds' Cody Reed isn't that far off anymore either. Maybe someday we can have a Cody Reed vs Cody Reed showdown in the bigs.

    Tulo scared of the ball? Knees buckling on curveball right down the middle and can't hit anything outside.

    Did we hear how Travis did in his extended spring game? With Goins sitting at a sub 500 OPS I think that Travis is the biggest story right now for the Jays. We need him.

    For all the rimjobs Shapiro and Atkins got for building such amazing depth, it is pretty funny to see Zeke and Thole getting all this playing time.

    Wish we could trade for Mauer to be our leadoff hitter and get them to eat a chunk of the money he is owed. No way they would trade him just to save a little money though.

    Yep. Spoke earlier about how it works with my MLB AB but today it is cutting out every 1-2 minutes. Brutal.

    Almost gave up and boycotted MLB TV a couple years ago because of how terrible it was. Had a good enough internet connection and it would just freeze and need to be restarted every few minutes. Only thing that saved it was that ot works nicely on my phone in the MLB At Bat app. Still though it would be nice to be able to watch it on a bigger screen from time to time without pure frustration

    Sanchez is just a really good pitcher now. It isn't some SS fluke, he looks like a complete different pitcher. Knock on wood, but with our rotation (minus Dickey) our SP might not be a weak spot this year.

    When I saw Sanchez and heard the early reports I already started believing the hype. Tried to trade for Sanchez in BBDL from Ang but he said he was keeping him as his project. I look at all the stats but also believe in the human element more than a lot of people on here and believe without Stroman, Sanchez would never have gotten the confidence or work ethic to improve. Long story short, I already would have had him pretty high but after seeing him the is no doubt he moves up. The changeup and curveball both loomed sick and I think he wasnt even slowing down when he got the yank. It is hard to say where he'd go on your list since it is different than mine, however I will say I would put him now equal to Severino.
