  1. And now after going on and on when they are clearly done talking to you has landed you on my ignore list too. You sound like you have a problem. People not betting with you doesn't mean their opinions aren't founded in better information.
  2. Buck and Tabby were talking during a recent game that any ball near bunted or chopped near the line rolls off foul. Maybe that has something to do with it if the surface isn't playing like a flat surface.
  3. Was at ST when they got a new turf football field. It was supposed to be real high quality and we played a lot out there. It was really nice to run and dive on so I never really got why players complained about turf. Now I'm guessing this new stuff is more similar to what we had there because a lot of rubbed would kick up there too.
  4. Blue Jays pitchers that are said to have a good curveball ball as prospects hardly ever seem to make it to the show with that same quality curveball. Drabek and Sanchez both come to mind. God our team would look so much better with Stroman swapped for Sanchez and Sanchez in the pen.
  5. What are the reports on Boyd's velocity? Sitting 90-92 like most lefty starters that come up
  6. Bauer at it again 3 IP, 0 H, 2 BB. 4 K so far. On the season 9 IP, 0 H, 7 BB, 15 K
  7. We get burned with high fastball all the time and it seems when our pitchers even throw hem by accident they are effective, yet it seems we sooo rarely call for our pitchers to throw high fastballs. They really need to start.
  8. It was a stupid thing for Machado to whine about.
  9. MB does pretty well with Navarro. This will be fine. Excited for this game.
  10. Guys in basketball and hockey, two much more physical sports can do great at 18 or 19 but everyone still worries about 20 year old relievers. Funny thing is that a lot of those ppl are the same ones who like to make fun of guys like Harold Reynolds for all his old school thinking. These kids have control, they are fine. Props to AA to have the balls to put them on the team and go against old school theory. Props to Gibbons for the way he managed the team over the first three days. Also I am excited that AA seems to be one of the first guys to be hinting that he is going to get away from completely stressing over IP. Guys get injured more than ever with these things in place. Use them while they are healthy and effective.
  11. Why is A Rod getting his ding done sucked all spring by announcers and analysts, yet Barry Bonds was basically forced out of baseball. If A Rod is allowed to get so much praise then why was I robbed of seeing a better player play a couple more years.
  12. Has Reyes always had such a choppy, ugly looking swing? I don't remember it looking like that.
  13. Gibbons wants everyone to get in during the first series. With the way Travis has played and with Pillar's lazy play letting whoeveritwas tag up and take second base, I'm not surprised Pillar is the one riding the pine.
  14. I don't even care. Castro and Osuna should be closer and setup men. They have the stuff and the control, there is no other mystical talent they will get from experience. They are our two best relievers.
  15. How is Martin supposed to be so good at framing when he hardly can catch the baseball?
  16. Smoak's ABs are looking really good. The way he is taking pitches reminds me of how Bautista was when he first broke out. Not even offering and then taking nice swings at the strikes. I really think this guy might breakout and be our 4th big time bopper.
  17. Yikes. I guess it is just me but every year I am so fed up with MLB TV. I have been on multiple computers, over multiple different connections and consistently have the same problems. I have tried each browser and they all have their own issues for me. Internet Explorer for whatever reason works the best with it for me, but it still gets "stuck" about once every inning and needs to be refreshed/restarted. I have had it for about 6 years and same problems the whole way through, despite the picture quality getting much better. I had none of the same problems with the NHL package I got for the first time this year.
  18. I might feel a bit bad for a guy getting picked on so bad for having an off performance, but ya know with some of the things Lawrie has done and pics he has posted that he's getting a bit of a taste of his own medicine. Good God we've had a lot of unlikable players in the last few years.
  19. Why the he'll would it go up? He was throwing much harder at the beginning of last season. You are arguing just to argue and saying something you have no evidence for.
  20. Remember how Hutch came back after TJS and was throwing surprisingly hard - up around 93-94... well that seems gone.
  21. Did you just say their arms will be ruined Good lord.
  22. Yikes. Meaningless argument again. They are in the bullpen. There is almost no way the team won't find the time over the next few years to have then down in the minors for a couple weeks. It is really not a concern, they aren't going to waste their year of service time. You'd think you'd know that since you've been following the team for years. The thing AA does consistently well is play the system.
