  1. The bottom of the ninth peaked at over 3 million viewers for Tulo's AB. Wish that could have been a walk off.
  2. Loup looks to me like the same pitcher he's always been. Seriously unlucky this year.
  3. This is basically the problem with bandwagoners. Their money counts just as much everyone else's, but the crush of them all at once can squeeze out the guys that have been there through the tough times.
  4. http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showthread.php/149526-Never-thought-I-d-root-for-the-Yankees bonus points for a 'man in white' reference here ("their little pitch calling dweeb in the outfield")
  5. I don't think so...
  6. I wonder what they know about Devon Travis.
  7. I've never seen anybody say FIP is "perfect" or "bulletproof" but it obviously is very useful to have because it works very well for most pitchers most of the time.
  8. I'd really like this trade if: -Price was under control for next year as well or -the Jays were sitting in the Royals or Yankees place right now. As it is it feels like a lot for a rental for a chance to maybe get to a coin flip game.
  9. Heyman says Jays making a major push for Price, which scares the crap out of me.
  10. I have to assume Nightengale is full of s*** here as regards the Jays
  11. womp womp womp another one bites the dust
  12. Same. They always say Stroman was asked for, but when the deal happens it's never anything near Stroman's value. It's seems like management's excuse to mollify the fanbase: oh, we'll just tell them everyone asked for Stroman, and then they'll shut up
  13. The Jays always say everyone insists on Stroman.
  14. Wouldn't give up all three of Hutchison, Alford, Castro.
  15. Speaking of that...http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2015/7/13/8945405/the-2015-bullpen-when-things-go-wrong-at-the-worst-time
  16. 6 back in the loss column, which is concerning.
  17. I know baseball is a second-guesser's delight, but man, the Jays had this guy, and, if I recall right, a lot of industry people expected them to pick Chris Sale in the 2010 draft. They went with Deck McGuire instead. It's painful to think about, but in a slightly alternate universe, the rotation right now could have Stroman (barring his freak injury), Sale, and Syndegaard in it.
  18. this guy's quoting rosenthal
