    bautista has been one of the best blue jay players for years.....sad to see him in decline.....but eventually fans will appreciate what he's done for this franchise..

    Martin always seems to come up with men on base......and gibbons won't put him lower in the order....sick of this..

    Martin didn't hit anything in the playoffs last year and is in a major slump now and Tulo is a run producer .....There is no reason that tulo should not be hitting 5th..

    with 2 outs they don't have to pitch to bautista

    They've lucked out so far......martin walked before tulo's triple...and struck out, hence no dp, before tulo's 2 run homer.. Like they say, Gibbons keeps falling out of the tree and landing on his feet..... and the media tells us how wonderful he is.. But sooner or later it will cost them..

    Yep.. And I wonder if playing so much first base has tired out EE.....but, of course, with Smoak what choice do you have?

    If you have a 4 run lead you don't use the closer. You have to trust the other members of the bullpen....otherwise you end up with what we got tonight and possibly tomorrow night when your closer will not ,or should not, be available..

    My nightmare is that they get to the wildcard, lose, and Gibbons is brought back.............

    he can play defense and is a base stealing threat off the bench....but he just can't hit.....

    And the best thing about him is that he's keeping Dickey out of the rotation..

    If you can't score more than one run in 12 innings you aint gonna win, bad defense or not..
