  1. Jeez, they're dropping like flies. Scratch another name off the list.
  2. Hey King can you post Law's commentary on the following players?

  6. I will update the OP. Spanky on the clock. Remember guys, Hoffman is back on the draft board and Touki Toussaint is not. I switched the Phillies/Cubs picks after Hoffman's injury to keep it closer to life.

  8. I think Zimmer drops to the Mets. He seems like their type of player and they need outfield help. They probably would also take Turner if he's there. For some reason I see the Jays taking Jackson, Gordon, or a pitcher at 9 and 11.
  9. Unusual swing mechanics. Swing can get long, which is not what you want in a speed player. Can't catch up to velocity on the inside half of the plate. Carrying tool has fallen a few grades from elite 80 to 60-70 according to many scouts. Not a shortstop long term, average arm. Hands, footwork, instincts all need to improve. In sum: not an impact bat, not likely to stay at a premium position, better players available. Do not want.

  11. Probably Beede, but I figured it was easier to change the Phillies pick (since it was mine) than force z3r0s to make a new pick. I also considered Finnegan, but I'm concerned about his potential arm injury.
  12. Given the news on Hoffman, I will change the pick to Freeland who I chose for the Phillies. It will help make it closer to what might actually happen at the draft. I made the pick for the Phillies anyway, so I will change that to someone else.

  18. Some Blue Jays IFA rumblings.
  19. Yes to Hoffman, no to Turner. I'd rather have one of Toussaint or Holmes. Part of me is wishing for a Rodon arm injury. 9. Rodon 11. Hoffman.
  20. He probably would have been close to the top of my list for the second round prior to this announcement. You'd have to save up the equivalent of a mid to late 1st rounder to sign him in the later rounds, as that's where he was likely to go though. He still likely goes to school.
