  1. f***ing love this guy
  2. delabar has been decent so far..his splitter looks really good this year.
  3. off topic...but this thread seems to get a lot of looks for some reason..lol. What's going on with Pompey. Is he hurt? He hasn't played the last couple days, but it doesn't say he's on the 7 day dl.
  4. ryan goins...hot hitter...turning it around...lets get another hit goins
  5. How could that blog contradict my point? My point wasn't that Sanchez is a good pitcher. My point is it's impossible to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, 2+ 2= 4, that Sanchez is a bad pitcher who will never improve. These are subjective matters. I said 3 starts ago they should send Sanchez down, and now he's had 2 solid starts and shown a lot of improvement. I find it f***ing hilarious that people get upset when Sanchez pitches well and the Jays win because it doesn't support what they have said about the kid..lol. I don't think Ryan Goins can hit. I was tickled pink to see him hit a home run and would love nothing more than to see his batting average and obp to climb and for me to be wrong. I'm a Jays fan. I just like seeing the Jays win. There's a few of us on this board, but not as many as you would think there should be...lol.
  6. yes, you are 100% correct. There is no way you could possibly be wrong. Baseball is easy for those who understand...lol. Those of us waiting to see if Sanchez can improve are dumn. We're not even saying he will improve, we're saying he's taken steps in the right direction and has the possibility of getting better. We should definitely trade him now for a 2 for 1 denny's grand slam breakfast coupon if there are any takers.
  7. that was written by people posting in this thread..no..lol. There are plenty of control challenged pitchers in their early years that were able to turn it around. The art of pitching is like many other sports, its all muscle memory and mental strength. Minor adjustments in either area can happen at virtually any moment in time for an athlete. I don't need to read your blog entry. Min
  8. why are the odds against a young player getting better? Seeing a 28 year drastically improve like bautista or chavez did doesn't happen very often, but quite often you see 21-24 year olds improve. You have no idea what he's going to do. I was ready to send him back to the minors 3 starts ago, but these last 2 starts have been much better than earlier ones. There's been a significant amount of improvement. His change up has been utilized a bit more and he's throwing more strikes. I am looking forward to his next start....does he regress or continue along a positive path...I don't know, but either do you.
  9. 6'4 isn't freakishly tall like Johnson, but it isn't short either.
  10. unless it leads to 3, 4 or 10 respectable starts. He's starting to cut down the walks. He's getting more swinging strikes and he still has one of the highest ground ball rate of any starter in the MLB. You better hope he has a bad start in 5 days. Three solid starts in a row might make your head explode.
  11. it's almost every game a dumb mistake costs the jays the game......if this costs the jays the game i'm going to be pissed
  12. I think he said boom..but as he was going towards the dugout I'm pretty sure he said f*** you...suck my cock
  13. There have hardly been any 3 ball counts....sanchez must have sacrificed something to the baseball gods before this one...
