  1. It wasn't intentional. There should be no reaction, but if they did retaliate maybe sanchez would get suspended and miss a start and keep his innings down!
  2. is it me...or does melvin stand a long ways off the plate?
  3. tough spot for feldman.
  4. hill just tied it up for the sox...damn
  5. i'm sure glad we saved osuna for the 7,8 and 9 hitters...
  6. cecil's curveball was dominant...terrible call. 6 straight appearances without a run by Cecil now.
  7. okay...i'll take a squibber back to the mound...just make contact
  8. martin going deep again here?
  9. yeah, because baseball is an easy game and players coming off injury rarely take time to get their timing back.
  10. spanky's got some extra rum...I'm sure he'll pour you a double.
  11. go go made contact, which is an improvement on what he did in his first 3 at bats.
  12. I thought Pentecost was martins replacement down the line
  13. if we give anything significant and take on 3 years of money for a guy who will be 36 in his last year of the contract, I will be very sad
  14. There's always a choice...there isn't enough scientific evidence on the subject. One could argue putting him in the bullpen could cause more harm. They should probably let him pitch or shut him down. http://www.torontosun.com/2016/07/30/blue-jays-should-leave-aaron-sanchez-as-starter-says-leo-mazzone
  15. baseball if full of ifs....I wouldn't move sanchez to the bullpen, but I see your point if that's definitely the route they plan to go. I'm sure they are trying to get a starter. Santana could be on his way.
  16. and if Kershaw doesn't pitch the rest of the season?
  17. brett cecil's curveball looks as good as ever. He came off an injury in the offseason, and had one mid season. He's starting to find it and will be dominant down the stretch. Getting him back to normal is like trading for a stud reliever.
  18. i wouldn't say Sanchez is a better pitcher, but the extra year, less money less mileage on the arm makes trading sanchez for Sale dumb.
  19. edwin....trying to get his defensive numbers up...
  20. nice effort by machado on that one...he was really hustling down the line
  21. ooh...missed one there
  22. bats is the man! great ab!
  23. nice hustle travis!
  24. swinging bunt....let's go travis!
  25. f*** pillar swings at everthing...how did he lay off the one right down the middle
