  1. You're right. I was looking at baseball ref. His OPS+ is 7! 2 more years at 23 on that deal
  2. It's 7...and I think he's off to a better start than last year..lol
  3. Oliver Perez threatened to opt out if they weren't demoted. There were other players of the same mind set. They are critical pieces, but Carrasco just recovered from leukemia last year. That puts him in a higher risk category for Covid. He could have opted out and been paid. Players are balancing the desire to win and the desire to keep their team mate safe. The latter has won out and guys are pissed at Clev and Plesac.
  4. One day of bad decisions, many more examples throughout the year. If Giles doesn't get hurt game 3 of the season, we likely win it. Rowdy misses a game winning homer by 3 inches and we lose. Teoscar has a ball come off his bat at 100+ miles an hour right at a guy for an inning ending double play against Washington with Alford at third. 3 errors and 5 unearned runs in a game in which you score 11 and you lose. We've had a season of base running errors in 18 games. It's frustrating. If the breaks have been even, and we had just half the mental errors this team could be 11 and 7 not 7 and 11. Now with Bo out it seems futile. Maybe the baseball gods will give back over the next 10 days. We certainly deserve a few breaks.
  5. That was me being trying to be positive. I'm certainly not surprised. We use all our high leverage relievers in game one and then we won't use Bass in game 2...bizarre.
  6. f***....just terrible management
  7. Font's either really good or really bad....we'll see
  8. sure looked like both outfielders were playing deep. It looked like they had them playing no doubles defense. Off that bat, I thought they would catch it.
  9. nice day at the plate for Alford...Homer, hit his first ball hard and took a walk, just didn't get the call. This ump has been all over for both teams today.
  10. the rays just never go away....i can't take it
  11. At a boy Anthony.....come on guys we gotta get this one now.
  12. Shoe got kicked out, but at least he took charlie with him.
  13. just a 7 inning shutout shoe. That's all i ask for.
  14. Ok Shoe....keep it going.
  15. I thought that one was gone...thank goodness
  16. His fastball command wasn't there today either. He was bound to have a tough outing at some point.
  17. At a boy Romano!
  18. McGuire unloaded it very quick though. I was surprised to see on the replay they would have had a shot with the perfect throw.
  19. ahh....just missed.
  20. really good call to come back with the fastball 1 and 2....fantastic job by Dolis to get out of this.
  21. wtf are you taking borucki out for Dolis....ok....he's not.
  22. buntoya strikes again!
  23. man....how did Drury not get to 2nd.
  24. He's trying to build Drury up..lol
