    hitting lots of fly balls..exit velocity now above 91, strike out rate below 15%, and his walk rate almost 10%......I credit it all to the shaved dome.

    Honestly the pitch that got hit out wasn't a terrible pitch. I didn't like the walk following the homer, but he had a bit of bad luck in the top of the 1st.

    No one said the player is struggling because he's trying to hard. He's a dumb player. Added pressure probably isn't going to help, but it isn't the over riding factor as to why he's making mental errors. He should be down in the order, because he's playing like garbage and it will put him and the team in a better position to succeed.

    Peason off a mound, Shoemaker close to a mound, Giles close, Romano hopefully back before the end of September. The Jays are going to have some interesting decisions. Would they DFA Roark or Anderson?

    Players feel naturally pressure when they come to a new team. He's trying to press the issue and make things happen. Put him in the 7 hole. He needs to settle in. He shouldn't be in the 2 hole in a game we need to win after yesterday's debacle.

    What happened? He was great yesterday. I don't like the sound of serious time. Serious time means he's not ready for the playoffs!

    Feels like a good time to remind people that Rowdy had a .501 OPS when I said he's going to bust out and be a solid hitter for us and I was laughed off the board.

    So Teo out, we sit Grichuk and we bat our hottest hitter Gurriel 6th and Villar after bonehead plays yesterday gets rewarded and is hitting 2nd. Charlie magic!
