    It doesn't make sense....Charlie said before the year he thought Gurriel was the best hitter on the team. Gurriel has been on fire. I don't think Charlie is making all the decisions on the lineup card.

    Pearson threw against hitters yesterday. If he and Shoe can make it back i'd just bite the bullet and DFA Roark now.

    Robbie Ray is the guy. We're basically going to have to throw him out there and cross our fingers and our toes. If we get the good Robbie Ray, he can be dominant. The bad and the game could be over in 2 innings! With no off days we're going to need 4 starting pitchers in a 5 game series assuming we get past the best of 3. We're also going to have to ask Ryu to pitch on short rest in that scenario! It's probably Ryu, shoe, ray, walker Ryu.....stripling or anderson could be in there replacing one of those 3.

    We played 29 games in 27 days! It's not a normal year with normal off days. Guys nowadays take off days in a regular season when there are many off days. We don't need to lose a key guy in a meaningless game. Randal has had a tough stretch and probably could use a mental and physical break even with the off day yesterday.

    On what planet do you think we needed Grich for this game? You think we have a comeback for us? Grichuk needed the rest. That's why he's out. Having him rested tomorrow was far more important than taking Fisher out.

    He should be able to go tomorrow....He needs to pitch and build that arm strength up.

    How much more could he squeeze out of him. He was over 30 pitches in the inning. He was completely gassed. If he asked him to get that last out he could have injured himself.
