The 'movie' quote, the 'pressure' quote, the 'my house' quote - all great and all if you back it up but then falls completely flat and embarrasses you, the team, the fandom infront of all of MLB when you don't deliver. --- Apparently the prices for tickets at RC are dropping precipitously, 20-35$ bucks now for 500 seats

    Tapia is the contact guy but he never walks, so he'll swing at everything until he Ks. Moreno can walk and better contact than Biggio

    Think Moreno was the choice - dude is better at contact than anyone on bench atm.

    Won't matter who plays where or where they are on the lineup; the core has to deliver, they have to get those clutch hits. Bo/Vlad/Teo have to step up tomorrow; if they don't, we are f***ed.

    The Mitch White comparison is such a weird take; he was a last second get to improve depth. I am sure there were attempts to land someone big, possibly including Castillo, but CIN liked SEA's package (And it was a big one) more. Its not like Atkins said nah I don't want Castillo, lets put all the resources into getting White instead! --- Yup. Munoz to get 5 outs.

    Every prediction site had us sweep in 2 games, every major broadcasting platform had us in 2 (like maybe one or two people had us in 3); literally, the only one who picked Mariners is Plouffe cause he felt embarrassed for his comments in May. I just knew it was all setting up for a big disappointment today lol. Ah well, got some work to do and hopefully some late inning magic. Phillies did it, so can we.
