    Fair and that's why I hope that he can find a better mentor who can influence him positively even against his own ideations. Teo couldn't do it and Vlad/him spend a lot of time together during the season. Now he has time to spend it with someone else who can instill the drive needed to be who the organization needs him to be. You are reading it like I am attacking Teo, when I am saying Vlad just needs someone else to steer him.

    Then Vlad definitely picked up on the wrong bits from him - i.e. not running everything out, pimping doubles, etc.

    I absolutely love this trade. I love Teo but he wasn't getting an extension, and Adam Macko + Swanson is a legit haul for 1 yr of him. We def need a good CF to compensate for the loss of production, but still a smart move. Got money back, got prospect back, nice. Not to mention Springer moves to RF and becomes less injury prone and provides ++ defense there. Also, hopefully Vlad finds a better f***in attitude mentor now. Adam Macko is my new favorite player; what a story. Atkins is super high on him, pursued him every year from Seattle, finally got his boy.

    I wouldn't mind Acuna for Bo considering we have a lot more infield prospects + espinal than OF ones but the chance Bo gets moved is very slim. And no way in hell do we have the capital to commit to Correa

    He improves his baserunning by 5 points?! Damn, 2023 Kirk gonna be zoomin. They're giving Vlad a 160 wRC+ with 40 HR year projection. Bo holding stead at 129 wRC+. Damn Manoah projected to end the year with 4.11 ERA/4.08 FIP. We f***edd.... Hell, Kikuchi is projected to be better than Manoah next year!
