  1. Ben Johnson was stripped of his gold medal for cheating. Rightfully so. Now they need to prove how much using drugs improves one's ability???? The point is, it does and it's not fair play.
  2. I don't understand the people who are in awe and admiring records set by players using performance-enhancing drugs. I only see them as cheating the system. I respect the records that were set without the use of them. Seems like I am of the exception on this forum. That's just the way I feel.
  3. He certainly belongs in the CHEATERS HOF!
  4. Since you asked you wouldn't understand even if I did explained.
  5. I wonder how many druggies/potheads we have on this forum. By reading all this bs defending ARod looks like we have a lot. ARod deserves everything he gets and MORE! Lifetime ban to all cheaters.
  6. LOL at all the A-Rod supporters. All the facts are not known yet his punishment is too harsh ???? Give me a break. A-Rod is a cheat and a liar and deserves everything he gets.
  7. So why are so many down on Goins? He's still so young and his stats in the minors are not that awful . Specially with Seitzer now in the mix.
  8. I prefer that we get Jimenez over the unproven MLB Tanaka. Get it done AA.
  9. I have a feeling inside that tells me that we might land him... but I don't like having my hopes up just to be followed by a big crash a la Darvish. AA signed a few players from Tanaka's homeland, if anyone can sell Toronto to him it will certainly be Kawasaki. He seems so happy here and with his teammates. AA not saying anything about it, I think he has a chance to outsmart all the other GM's on this. He has been playing his cards for a long time on this Tanaka, a long time. Just my opinion, but I have a feeling inside!
  10. I also mentioned this before about AA: http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/1992-Is-AA-a-Good-GM?p=165604&viewfull=1#post165604
  11. Darvish all over again. Guys, give your head a shake, he ain't coming to Toronto, never will.
  12. AA is a workhorse, lives and breaths baseball 24/7. A workaholic. I like that. But, he's young and cocky of his own intelligence thinking he can be smarter then anyone. He needs to learn more about finesse on how to handle other GMs in a respectful way. Many GMs are simply staying away from him in fear of being ridiculed in a one sided trade. He needs to get back in the game and being able to make reasonable trades with them. I thought we had a chance last year but we were doomed by all the injuries. This coming season may be a nice contending surprise for all of us.... I hope.
  13. Who knows, maybe he'll get better when Dickeyed.
  14. So now they'll have the "Tippy Toeing" rule. How about having the runner kiss the catcher while they're at it. They don't make them like they use to.
  15. As a retired cop I can tell you IF the ump was seriously injured both the pitcher and catcher would have been charged with assault causing bodily harm. Possibly whoever else that conspired to commit this criminal offence. From the comments of some posters here, it just shows their lack of common sense and how immature they are.
  16. If you were presently the GM for the Jays and would have the option to have one player of your choice who would it be? (Regardless of payroll). I would get Justin Verlander.
  17. Helllloooooo..... that's Spanky's signature, get used to it.
  18. Well if we're stuck with JPA for another season I sure hope our new hitting coach can make him a productive bat. But his defense... that's hopeless.
  19. You should be posting on the official Jays forum, you would make sense there.
  20. Too bad he's got a cement head.
  21. MLB reminds me of pay to win computer games.
  22. The sad part about it all is that WE are living in Farrell's dream. Nightmare for all of us. Seems like the Jays can't do anything right for the past 20 years.
  23. I actually mute my tv so that I don't hear that idiot.
