    So why are so many down on Goins? He's still so young and his stats in the minors are not that awful . Specially with Seitzer now in the mix.

    I have a feeling inside that tells me that we might land him... but I don't like having my hopes up just to be followed by a big crash a la Darvish. AA signed a few players from Tanaka's homeland, if anyone can sell Toronto to him it will certainly be Kawasaki. He seems so happy here and with his teammates. AA not saying anything about it, I think he has a chance to outsmart all the other GM's on this. He has been playing his cards for a long time on this Tanaka, a long time. Just my opinion, but I have a feeling inside!

    AA is a workhorse, lives and breaths baseball 24/7. A workaholic. I like that. But, he's young and cocky of his own intelligence thinking he can be smarter then anyone. He needs to learn more about finesse on how to handle other GMs in a respectful way. Many GMs are simply staying away from him in fear of being ridiculed in a one sided trade. He needs to get back in the game and being able to make reasonable trades with them. I thought we had a chance last year but we were doomed by all the injuries. This coming season may be a nice contending surprise for all of us.... I hope.

    So now they'll have the "Tippy Toeing" rule. How about having the runner kiss the catcher while they're at it. They don't make them like they use to.

    As a retired cop I can tell you IF the ump was seriously injured both the pitcher and catcher would have been charged with assault causing bodily harm. Possibly whoever else that conspired to commit this criminal offence. From the comments of some posters here, it just shows their lack of common sense and how immature they are.

    If you were presently the GM for the Jays and would have the option to have one player of your choice who would it be? (Regardless of payroll). I would get Justin Verlander.

    Well if we're stuck with JPA for another season I sure hope our new hitting coach can make him a productive bat. But his defense... that's hopeless.

    The sad part about it all is that WE are living in Farrell's dream. Nightmare for all of us. Seems like the Jays can't do anything right for the past 20 years.

    We have a bunch of CLOWNS for players. We need some seriousness in this team and players that knows the baseball fundamentals. How many games did they have with blunders? Stuff that even little league players know not to do. I've been a Blue Jays fan for decades and this year to me was the worse one in witnessing how many idiots we had on the team. And arrogant ones at that. You're dreaming if you think we are a few players away from being contenders. Not with the bunch we have right now, ain't going to happened. Gibbons is a marshmallow with players, can't get any seriousness in his clubhouse. Get rid of him.

    What I disliked the most about our team this year was the way they acted when getting on base with their stupid sign and celebrating home runs like they won the WS. We have a bunch of clowns for a team. And what happened to knowing baseball fundamentals? How many blunders have we seen over and over again, every game? And the arrogance of the young players that we have, so unprofessional. Gibbons should have layed down the law, make them act like a SERIOUS team wanting to win. Not like a bunch of clowns. And to be honest, I don't see them being any better next year. Not unless they git rid of the leading clowns and bring some serious players to the team.
